Strong as an elephant, cunning like a fox, graceful as a swan... We often compare ourselves to the qualities of animals. But what can we learn from an ant? Ezinne is a very stubborn little girl who meets an ant named Anton. Anton, who is a soldier in Queen Antoinette’s army, is fully equipped and always on the go, along with hundreds of other soldier ants. Anton and her army's invasion into the house makes Ezinne realize that Anton is more than just a tiny ant. Ezinne learns a valuable lesson from Anton and realizes that she should be more like an ant.

  • Cats Everywhere

    Heather Hueging, Amanda Nachbauer

    Paperback (FriesenPress, Sept. 21, 2016)
Cats can be entertaining and fun. This book tells how our cats have entertained us and themselves for the past few years. It is a summary of things that they have done and I had a lot of fun reliving the events by writing the book. Amanda had fun illustrating the book as she has been around the cats since they were little too and remembers all the fun things they have done. Some to the antics they have been known to do are sleep in the bathroom sink, eat food that was meant for us, hide in the closets and climb all over the clothing, and jump on shelves that we never thought they could make it to. They sleep with us and often take up more than their share of the bed and if they think they are not getting enough room, they are just as likely to lay on top of us. It does disrupt our sleep but, the other side of that is we get to see the moon and stars that we would not normally see when sleeping. Yes, Cats Everywhere certainly fits in our home and we love having them. They purr so nicely. Hopefully you will enjoy the book.
  • Air, air everywhere
